Biography:

Barry teaches Jazz Saxophone. A retired Navy Captain and Navy helicopter pilot, Barry moved back to Oak Harbor to enjoy the Pacific Northwest. Barry's formal education includes a BA in Music Performance and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. Being a part of countless ensembles throughout the years, Barry's primary focus is jazz, leading several big bands and smaller ensembles as well as playing in various other jazz groups in the local area. In addition to performing, Barry is the director of Northwest Big Band, a jazz camp for adults located in Stanwood WA.
